Is it a good option to many smokers?
E-cigarette is slowly gaining popularity all around the world and so are the criticisms against its usage. This grew even louder when there were reports of increased sales of over 50% compared to last year. However, this may not be any good at all as more and more controversy on them continue accusing the marketers of targeting the youths and minors. The news of e-cigs in Australia may not be pleasant given the fact that the western part has banned the use of electronic cigarette. Banning indiscriminately, even those that have no nicotine is a shocker to both users and manufacturers of this product.
Initially came the banning of regular tobacco cigarettes, then the e-cig. The electronic cigarette allows users to inhale a vapor without the smoke, and this helps them to cut down their tobacco smoking. Even health experts are questioning this ruling by the West Australian Supreme Court. The ban of e-cigarettes in Australia is because of the law that prohibits any "food, toy or other product" looking like a cigarette or cigar and thus e-cigs containing with no nicotine could not be spared. Disappointed vapors could not keep their anger, blasting them for stopping e-cigars some even saying that this product helped them since it is better than the normal tobacco. Even with the ban however, one can easily obtain one in west Australia.
Terming these products not approved as quitting smoking aids, Dr. Tarun Weeramanthri who is the executive director at WA Health Department, declared that no legal and valid evidence supports this. He added that e-cigarettes are revolutionized normal cigarettes, going by the rapid buying of e-cigarette companies by these producers. Other doctors, however do not support the ban, saying that electronic cigarettes have some benefits and thus WHO should not ban them. Professor Gerry Stimson from Imperial College in London asked for review of e-cigars by the WHO to try and see the positive part of them.
It will not be a surprise that it illegalized in other parts of the world if this trend continues. Critics argue that suppliers are only interested in getting market for their products and do not care who vapors them and who doesn’t. Citing a case of youths being their primary target, they will not cool down until the problem is solved. Meanwhile, e-cigarettes in Western Australia are not allowed marking a major setback to the unrelenting manufacturers and suppliers.

Choosing an e-juice strength in Australia
After identifying a good e-cig brand in the market, you can begin enjoy using the e-juice. It’s normally said that it is the content of the cartridge that is more important than the brand of the e-cig. There is no need to worry about getting a new vapor because with some little knowledge, trial and error is allowable. The notion of ml/mg represents the level of nicotine in milligrams per each milliliter of e-liquid. Some appear as a percentage instead of this, but they are acceptable and mean the same.
The most common question is a level of nicotine in the e-liquid that equals to a regular cigarette. In a 10ml bottle of e-juice of 24mg of nicotine, it will have 240mg of nicotine in it. When refilling the cartridge it is important to know how much nicotine is in that e-cig. The amount of nicotine taken into the body depends on a number of factors. These factors are:
a. Density of the nicotine in e-liquid
b. The E-cig vaporizing quantity
c. Smoking frequency and timing
d. Smoking inhaling respiration
Not all nicotine e-liquid contained inside the cartridge is absorbed into the body, only about 65% and researchers have found it quite safe. Most e-juices are of different nicotine strengths and the vapor will easily choose what they can select for themselves. The following information is normally suggested as there is no real scientific information concerning the same.
1. 0ml/mg means zero nicotine level in the e-juice. Normally people with the passion to vape as well as anyone who has quit smoking but still loves or craves to “smoke”.
2. 6ml/mg for anyone who only need a little of nicotine with a bit of e-liquid taste.
3. 12ml/mg is a little nicotine, not for anyone with a heavy nicotine thirst.
4. 18ml/mg is normally loved by anyone who used to smoke but switched to vaping.
5. 24ml/mg has a very high nicotine level, preferred by someone formerly a heavy smoker.
6. 36ml/mg is offered to vapors with lots of nicotine addiction. It is very rich in nicotine.
